What is the difference between regular Care Providers vs. Vita Medical Providers?
Can I call VitaMedical incase of an emergency?
Keeping our clients safe is our top priority at Vita Care. We carefully check every Care Provider with thorough background checks, reference checks, skill assessments, and work authorization verification. Please feel free to ask us about our detailed screening process.
All Care Providers are insured. Vita Care ensures the protection of all clients by mandating that all referred Care Providers, including VitaMedical Providers, to have liability insurance.
Currently, we only accept private payments. Although, we can assist clients with reimbursement from both primary health insurance and long-term care insurance. Kindly reach out to your specific insurance provider to verify eligibility.
Regular Care Providers and VitaMedical Nurses differ in their roles. Nurses offer medical care, whereas Care Providers do not. Caregivers are skilled professionals who aid with daily activities (ADLs). Nurses, on the other hand, are licensed medical experts who offer medical care alongside assistance with ADLs.
In case of a medical emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Department. For non-emergencies, we will make every effort to promptly connect you with a nurse.
